How we clean upholstery
Inspection and fiber identification come first — what we find determines the method. Construction, condition, color stability, and soil level all factor in, and we test when appropriate, so not every item is cleaned exactly the same way.

We groom and prepare the material for drying, then complete a final inspection.
If cleaning may not be appropriate for an item, we'll explain that before we begin. Results vary with material, age, and condition — some stains or discoloration may be permanent, and complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.

Many spots and stains can be significantly improved or removed, but complete removal cannot be guaranteed in every case. Results depend on factors such as the type and age of the stain, the material, color stability, previous treatments, and existing wear or discoloration. Mango Spotless uses professional, eco-friendly cleaning products and methods selected for each material. Our goal is to achieve the best possible result without putting the upholstery at unnecessary risk.
How do you choose the cleaning method?
We inspect the fiber, construction, and color stability of each piece and test when appropriate. Based on what we find, we select either professional hot-water extraction or a very-low-moisture method — whichever is appropriate for that item's material and condition. To protect your furniture and home from accidental damage, we do not move furniture. Please clear the areas you would like cleaned before our arrival.
